Akanksha Puri was born on August 26, 1988, in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India. She is currently 33 years old.



As for her personal life, very little is known about her parents and her childhood. She is the only daughter of retired Police Deputy Commissioner RK Puri and his wife Chitra Puri, who is an astrologer.

Akanksha Puri worked as a flight attendant for Kingfisher Airlines and made the leap into modeling before becoming an actress.

She has done more than 100 commercials and photo shoots. Meghana Raj was originally considered for the role of Nandita Menon in Madhur Bhandarkar's Calendar Girls, but Akanksha was cast in her place.
